Big, bold, memorable.

Poster art is not about nuance. Not about detail. It's about statement. Say it loud. Say it proud.

Children’s Musical Theatre San Jose

Children’s Musical Theatre San Jose

Children’s Musical Theatre of San Jose is a great place for kids of all ages to dip their toes into the theater pool. A poster that shows how excited they are to be performing communicates youthful exhuberance and a call for community participation.

NAPHS Signage

NAPHS Signage

These posters feature three different annual meeting designs and themes. Signage is a major part of live events. The challenge of these posters was to feature the identity of the host, the unique look of the conference and the logo of the sponsor...all in a readable, attractive format.

Gasch Printing

Gasch Printing

The client who commissioned this poster was so proud of his new press. But only a printer can love a press. The rest of us are only interested inwhat that shiny new press can produce. Featuring what rolls off the new 4-color Heidelberg Speedmaster 74, we created a headline that focuses on the client and his project. Then we picked a variety of photos to create a riot of color; each photo sports a caption that repeats “color” along with an appropriate exciting adjective. The result was a BIG beautiful color poster of his new baby. The printer was such a proud papa.

Jazz Festival of Silicon Valley

Jazz Festival of Silicon Valley

Capturing the unique feeling of the silicon valley in this jazz festival poster entry centers on hills, fertile valley, and, of course, a satellite dish. The juxtaposition of the sax and the brown summer hills shows them alive with the sound of music! The style of the sax is an homage to jazz’s free form.

Georgetown University Linguistics Society

Georgetown University Linguistics Society

A low-budget high-class academic poster advertises a Georgetown University conference on Language and Globalization. The low-key color treatment keeps this poster dignified; the large graphic also serves as a logo for the conference. The graphic also works well in one-color reproduction for conference program schedules, etc. Text is clear and easy to read for important name-recognition to draw attendees. Clean lines and simple shapes give the poster a pleasant look.
